Alicea (Allie) Lieberman
I am a Postdoctoral Scholar at UC San Diego’s Rady School of Management and will be joining UCLA's Anderson School of Management as an Assistant Professor of Marketing in Fall 2021. My research focuses on judgment and decision making with an emphasis on motivation, health, and behavior change. In particular, I explore when and why consumers initiate behaviors; the cognitive processes underlying behavioral persistence; and, the role of social influence in behavior change. I am passionate about interdisciplinary approaches and committed to harnessing social and behavioral research to impact policy and improve societal health and well-being.
